that they may know you

That saying comes from many places, one of them being the band "Haste The Day."

The significance is fairly evident. That they may know YOU. That they may know GOD. That means plenty. I have a few things to say tonight. I feel very repeatitive with my blogs and my feelings however I think they are important. I will try to spill it in a different way though, for your pleasure.

I am here to say that we need God. We need to have extravagent love. We do not need some or little or mediocre. We need it all and we need it hardcore. If you want a relationship with God do you want a relationship with parts of Him or ALL of Him? Do you want a somewhat good relationship? An okay..or good or maybe even great one? They aren't good enough I am telling you right now. I think that the next statement I make can have contraversial points however, in the specific context that I am going state it is true no matter how it sounds. "All or nothing!" Sound familiar? Probably. I mean we here it lots don't we? In different ways such as pertaining to gambling which is a fairly retarded example and God a really important example.

"All or nothing." Well that could mean a few things I guess depending on who is hearing or perceiving it. Different people perceive it differently. Here is my view and how I believe its truth.

- number one mediocre is not good enough
- second God is not mediocre and He is nothing but perfect
- He doesn't love us half
-He is unchanging
-His love is unchanging

Those are a few but just to put it into context a little more. Do you want half of perfect love? Do you want half of GOD!!!! If you said yes, well to be honest you don't want Him at all. That is not to say that there are things that are hard and you don't really want to do. That is different. However God is not a God of halfs or imperfections. If you don't take the whole piece you are missing God. Does that work in a relationship with God? I don't think so. And again that's not to say that we are perfect or that we don't miss Him lots of the time. However your heart needs to be in the right place. It is more about your heart than anything else and saying that also insinuates that if your heart is right, then you will act on that. That doesn't mean you won't make mistakes if your heart is right. That would be wrong. You will screw up. Fact. But do you fully love God, with all your heart, soul, and mind. That is super important.

This brings me to my next point. What I want.

- I want to get people quivering in their seats
-I want to move people
-I want to be so incredibly close to God
-I want to live with Him - side by side
- I want to make a difference

Most important I want to be with God. Of God. If in my life I could lets "say" not help a single person which isn't true of course but if that was the case and I could still love God in such an amazing way and be with Him ALL the time. That would still have been worth it. However it's an even better deal in real life. If we love Him like that, He will use us! I want that. I want to love Him that much again. I want Him right here right now. I can't live without Him, I've tried and it is so impossible and it hurts so much. That's why hell is going to hurt so much. They will have lost the greatest thing. God.

I want Him back. I don't want to be perfect. I don't want to be anything but God's.
