the pledge to do right

It is distinct action that needs to take place. It is a decision of which course to take, which course will prevail. Will it be the course that you allow or the course that you will choose?

Happiness will not be found in existence but existing. Your happiness, your purpose is found not in yourself but in your heart. It is found in what you do, not what you do not. I hate to say it, but by your accomplishments. Your accomplishments however are not determined by society or any other sort of pressured view or meticulous metropolitan standard. It is by the heart that it is determined, by God's heart, by others hearts. Success is something in you not of you. It is visible but in a way that is not viewed as "success" or "accomplishment." Success is not a career, money, a car, great marks. Success is just that thing. The thing we all have the choice to receive but often neglect. The choice and decision to be real. To have heart. To know love. To give it. It is the change of heart. A change that is visible, and is seemingly unfathomable in circumstantial places and avenues. However you will know when you have succeeded, you will see it yourself eventually. Whether it is a change that seems as great as this it may just be a start to what's to come.

The change is so subtle yet evident. You may not completely realize it because you may not be thinking of it or paying much attention to it. You will know. Whether it is a matter of realization or just living it. It is in you, it's not just a fact or a thing. It is more than that, it is not in or from your head and that is why your head may not even realize what you are doing....succeeding. It is not by our minds but our hearts, our spirits. We may use our minds but they often deceive us or prevent any further success in us. Though there is reason for brains, the heart is much stronger, God is much stronger. He works with the smallest things, a simple submission and a simple cry from the heart will trigger a reaction. Though we always change, or should change, God never does..
