this human addiction

Have an addiction? Tell me? No? How so? How is it that you do not have an addiction? Don't we all? T.V? What video games? Lust? What is your addiction? Who have you told? Does it beat down on you? Are you captured by it? Can you be freed? Or will it hold you down forever? Run? Can you even? Will it leave? Maybe, doubtful. Does it consume you ever minute of everyday? What is your addiction? Does it belong? Is it normal? Well could be, human nature? Is it alright to have it then? What are you going to do with it? How do you get rid of it? Is it even possible? Maybe you don't think you have an addiction? Maybe you don't. I have no idea. Do I? I certainly do. Have I struggled my entire life with it? Of course. How do you relieve the pressure? I don't know. I honestly don't? Are you dealing with lust, faithfulness, and greed? What are you dealing with? Can it be dealt with, or does it just deal with you? Does it let you go, or does it hold you close? Try and escape if you dare? It takes a lot of will-power to do so. I know this much. But is it possible? Are you stubborn enough? Are you disciplined enough? Can you discipline yourself? Again can you get rid of it? How? Or is it something you have to live with? Chose. Chose now. Don't wander and wait and continue on with this insanity. Don't let it take every minute of your day, of your very lives. It consumes you like a fire that devours your heart, your spirit all that you desire and have attained with Jesus? Does it do this to you? Does it make your love fraudulent? Does it take away your faith? Your fire? Do you even have fire? Have you ever had it? Who do you love? Your addiction? Jesus? Chose. Do you even love yourself, for your addiction controls you. Will you allow it? Are you sure that you love yourself? If you stand idly by and watch it take over? Are you going to let it win? Will not love yourself before your addiction? Is it more important then life itself? Or have you been rescued? Can you be? Love yourself, love Jesus? Does this constitute your idleness? Does this show your true love for Jesus? No it shows your true love, the true control that your addiction has. Do you choose to be addicted? Is it all in your head? Can you choose to stop? Or is it a permanent thing, something you’re born with? I do not believe so. You are born with your human deficiencies but do you need to give into them? Is it a choice or human nature? Does human nature bound us to hell? Does it control the very destiny which we were born into? Were hellriden. Yet Jesus saved us. If Jesus can save us from hell, cannot also save us from this? From the human nature? From addiction? Or will we all be consumed? Let’s rise up. Let’s not stand and wait to be cast aside. Let’s arise and run, fight, gorge and crush. Trample under your feet the very thing that has controlled your life. Take away this horrible desire, and destroy it. Do not let it control you any longer. If it controls you how can God? Can He? Let Him. Die addiction. Die to humanity. Die to yourself. Die human nature. Die. Do not live in death for you will certainly die. But die to live. To have life. To die to you is to live. And to live for you is to die.
